Nails : Ocean inspired Ombre manicure

Hallo beauties :)

Meanwhile the north part of our planet is enjoying the summer and the sea , we are in the heart of winter and some of you already miss summer and can't wait for it to return !

So i decided to share with you one of my favourite manicure techniques ( which was actually shared again around 2 years ago - one of the first posts on this blog ) and it's.... nail Ombre !
In order to satisfy summer lovers too , i decided to make an Ocean inspired Ombre manicure :)

If you like it , keep reading , it's REALLY easy to make , you can do it using these or any other colours you desire and create any Ombre , or rainbow nail style you want !

So let's get started .

First of all ,after you properly cut and sharpen your nails the way you want to , you need to colour them using a white nail polish ( the one you use for french manicure edges ) . Cover the whole area and let the nail polish dry COMPLETELY .

Then you will need 3 or more different colours of nail polish , depending on the result you want and an old piece of sponge you don't need any more. I used a sponge for make up application that i didn't use lately.

Next step is really easy but also the most important . Make three lines ( or more depending on how many colours you chose ) on your sponge , one line for each colour . Pay attention of the order you place your colours , from light to dark or reverse ,doesn't matter but make sure the in between colours will be always between the lightest and darkest ones.

Using your sponge , tap the surface of the coloured area on your nails gently , two or three times and move on .

After two or three nails you will need to refresh the nail polish on your sponge.

The bright white base will lighten up the lighter shades so your Ombre will look great !

Don't worry about making a mess , use some nail polish remover and a piece of cotton to clean the areas around your nails :)

Apply some top coat for extra shine and protection so your manicure will last longer and Voila !

That's it , super fast , super easy and pretty alternative so you will make a statement ;)
February will be way more active than January so add me/follow me to get notified for all the upcoming tips ;)
