Nails : Fire kissed manicure

Hey hey my beauties !

We are back with one more manicure recommendation ! Bright red is pretty classical choice for an
elegant , easily matched and sexy manicure. It creates vibrancy to every outfit and it's the ideal option to attract the interest during a meeting or presentation while using your hands.

Here, on Irina's Beauty Advices, we love keeping the old but gold rules which obey the classical aesthetics and complicate anyone and slightly upgrade them to make the difference!

My suggestion today is the fire-kissed manicure ! Why firekissed? Because the typical bright red manicure hosts an Ombre nail in it , formed by red, orange and yellow shades which eventually give the illusion of fire :)

The technique used is quite simple and it was presented step by step on my previous nail article ( Ocean inspired Ombre look ) , check it out to see the process step by step ;)

You will need :

  • Of course bright red nail polish
  • White nail polish ( used as the base of eeeevery Ombre nail look )
  • a pallete of at least 3 colours (close to each other )
  • an old sponge

At first cut/shape your nails the way you want to and then apply any protective base polish you use . The white nail polish ( base of Ombre ) should be applied ONLY to the ombre nail. Apply it first so it will have enough time to dry otherwise your Ombre may not turn out good .

Up next, apply the red nail polish to all the rest nails except those with the white coat on :)

Now it's time for you to create the fire kissed Ombre ! Make three lines using the colour palette of your choice (be careful with the color's direction) on the sponge and start tapping gently the nail . Repeat 2-3 times (refilling the coat on the sponge) until you get the vibrant result you want . The white base will lighten up the whole thing :)

TIP : White base must be SUPER dry otherwise it will absorb the colours - it happened to me sometimes -

Don't worry about the mess around! Just use a Q-tip and some nail polish remover ( acetone works super) and clean the areas nearby. There are also some peel off gels you can apply around your nail to save you from that process as well. I didn't have one back when I composed the article so I had to stick with the traditional method. If you are not so confident you can always ask someone else to do it for you so you won't screw the manicure :)

Now you are ready :) So simple and easy ;)

Stay tuned for more upcoming suggestions that will boost up your whole mood and will inspire you to treat yourself as good as you can since you deserve it ;)
